Become an Ambassador at BNRAC Volunteerism Matters! Bald Nation Rocks Against Cancer is a faith-based cancer outreach center. Our members are referred to as “Ambassadors”, with a willingness to serve. Our goal is to bring cancer prevention and awareness to our community, by supporting through fundraising and offering support to those who are undergoing treatment. Volunteer opportunities play a vital role at BNRAC to provide compassion, quality care and assistance to our cancer warriors, as well as their family members and caregivers. We also have leadership and committee member positions available. These roles provide direction in achieving our purpose, vision, and goals in support of our mission. Ms. Jessica Elizabeth Harrison-Penick was a daughter, sister, and friend within her village. She believed in living life to the fullest. She had a sense of humor. She loved to laugh and hearing the sound of laughter around her. She was her mother's twin that graced everyone with a beautiful smile. She was bright, smart and articulate with her thoughts and when talking with others. She was the "big" sister to her big brother helping to keep the family together is so many ways. A mentor. A friend. An Angel to us all. We will always love you! Colors of Cancer Bald Nation Rocks Against Cancer recognizes the impact that cancer has on families. Our goal is to raise awareness and to encourage action in preventive measures. Please visit your Primary Doctor and schedule your annual check-ups during your birthday month. Prayers for our Sister's Healing Dear God, I have a friend who’s now in pain. This is a difficult time in her life, so I ask You to be withher. Show her Your mercy and send forth Your healing hands to her. I know, Lord, that no disease isever too much for You to heal. You shall allow no affliction, whether physical, mental, or emotional,to stay with us forever. I trust in You, God, and Your mighty power to restore my friend’s body andmind back to normal. Thank You also for blessing my friend with skilled doctors to help her on thisroad to recovery. Thank You for giving them intelligent minds and compassionate hearts to servemy friend during her time of illness. Continue to anoint them with Your wisdom, God, that they mayprovide correct diagnoses and prescribe the right medicine. We continue to trust in Your timing,Father God. Continue to work Your restoration through her body. Renew her strength soon so thatshe may continue to serve You and share Your love with the people around her. All these requestare ask in Your Name, Amen!

Mental Health and being connected mind, body & soul is so important for health and well-being. Being connected to your mind, body, spirit, family, friends, your surroundings and even your furry pets can create an overall sense of balance to improve health.Being connected can be done in simple steps. You can create and maintain connections in your life in many ways. Pick up the phone and call someone you care about. Take a walk and greet people you see along the way. Mediation and prayer. Join a local meetup group to meet new friends or to start a new hobby. Take a family bike ride. Visit an animal shelter or a state park. Enjoy a meal with friends.How does being connected affect your health and well-being? Taking healthy steps can lower your blood pressure, anxiety and even depression while increasing endorphins and self-esteem. Being connected to others or being involved in positive habits can also improved your health. Studies have proven that feeling closer to family and friends brings a deeper meaning and purpose in one’s life. Give these few suggestions a try for Staying Connected. BNRAC is a faith-based health & well-being service support organization that offers assistance to women facing health issues related to various forms of cancer. This is important, because woman from all walks of life are faced with similar challenges such as, depression, uncertainty, anxiety, financial struggle, and divorce when dealing with cancer. BNRAC goals are to inspired, encourage and uplift those in our community through collaborative partnerships. This is our purpose, our call, and our Why!

Fun was had by all. All proceeds will support BNRAC mission to provide support services to women fighting against cancer.BNRAC Community Service & Upcoming Events BNRAC supports the City of Marietta Juneteenth Celebration by hosting a Health and Wellness Booth. BNRAC along with WE rGroupEx, David Fullwood and the Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition conducted health screening and distributed fitness and cancer awareness information.
